sounds like there gonna b a good croud up for a day out, mayb aft u seen how bad i am few of u onlookers might b encouraged to show me how its really done! gonna take a ride in TWIDDLES project FEZ, dont want to put u all off with all that ROVER power. Laughing

Just checked the weather for the day and heavy rain and wind for morning and showers for afternoon... but we like it like that

My run of bad luck continues and the Pug developed a rattle in the top end, investigation seems to indicate oil wasn't getting to one set of lifters!!!! So a 5am start, long drive and 3 sighting laps was my track day fun!!!!
I left Simon and Jay pounding around the track, Jay's car looks very good and is certainly quick, I don't think I would have kept up with him :-)

Hope both of them got back Ok this evening.

nice one mike, nice to meet you, its a shame about your car as it would of been interesting chasing you on them tyres, the best bit for me was the vx220 that didnt come passed for 6 laps and then just squeezed through!!

sounds like we missed a good day, take it you enjoyed it jay, think jims gti had the same problem mike, then the rocker shaft siezed and snapped, are the lifters oiled through the rocker shaft galleries

Had another great day not as mental as the escort tho.

Bad luck for Mike and a stunning car.

Could not come close to Jay on track amazing performance and upset alot of high spec cars with expert drivers.

The fez was faultless all day apart from cutting out at 6am 1/2 mile from home due to no charge from alternator, turned out to be another bodge on wireing loom. fixed drove it there gave it hell drove it home now have one sore arse!!!

NEEDS A TURBO THO

i got no pics as was havin too much fun and cups o tea, Jays dad got some, but to be honest there is not much in the way of chance for pics apart from one section of track, if you wanted to see it you should have been there!!!! Laughing

maybe bring a car next year eh?

now where did i put that turbo???
