no power...........?

on my way home tonight my lights just went out and i lost all my electrics except ignition power, hazzards and radio aint got a clue whats up but the dash clock just has dash's all over it instead of the usual mileage! any idea's anyone?

was thinking either main power fault like fuse's or relay or even a earth point? Sad

either way not good as the fiesta is of the road and it was my only way of getting to work? bugger! Embarassed

sounds like one of what you have mentioned or broken wire/connection. did the engine lose power too?

ECU connection on battery broken wire in loom or even melted wire.
Nightmare scenario mate sounds a bit specialised maybe auto electrician with the proper metres Jim. I have a number for a local guy if you need it . Crying or Very sad

no need paulthe specialist auto electrician jim has fixed it! got back from work went to have a look at the focus and found a wire snapped off near the batery terminal reconnected it and brum brum we are a away again!

well pleased it was an easy fix though!
